Father Never Leaves Me

The Father’s Love: What It Means That He Never Leaves Us

When I look back over my life — from nearly drowning in three different countries, to losing my brother and mother only months apart, to wrestling with silence and sorrow — there is one truth that has carried me: the Father never leaves His children.

This truth is not just theology, it is testimony. It’s not just a verse I’ve memorized, it’s a promise I’ve lived.

What the Father’s Love Looks Like

God’s love isn’t always about removing the storm. Sometimes His love looks like:

  • Holding us up when the water should have taken us.
  • Comforting us when grief burns like fire.
  • Sitting with us in silence when words don’t come.
  • Reminding us that even when people leave, He never will.

His love is steady, unchanging, and faithful.

Why His Presence Matters

Knowing that God never leaves doesn’t mean life will be pain-free. But it does mean we are never alone in the pain.

When I was under the water, His presence saved me.
When I buried my loved ones, His presence carried me.
When I questioned Him in the silence, His presence reassured me.

The presence of the Father changes everything.

Scripture That Anchors This Truth

“Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close.” — Psalm 27:10

This verse reminds me that even when earthly relationships fail, the love of our Heavenly Father never does.

What It Means for You

Maybe you’ve been left behind by someone you love. Maybe you’ve faced rejection, abandonment, or loss. I want you to know this: the Father’s love is not fragile like human love. He will not walk away when life gets hard. He will not let go when you stumble.

You are seen. You are loved. You are never alone.

A Prayer for You

Father, thank You that Your love never fails. Thank You for being constant when everything else changes. Help me to trust that You are near, even when I can’t feel You. Remind me daily that I am never abandoned by You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Final Word

The message of my book, Father Never Leaves Me, is the message of my life: God is faithful. He was with me in the water, in the fire, in the silence, and in the sorrow. And He is with you, too.

If you need a reminder of His unshakable love, I invite you to read my full story. May it strengthen your faith and remind you that you are never forgotten.
